An Introduction to Unconscious Bias

Almost everyone would say that they treat people fairly and with respect. You don't hear people saying, ‘Let’s create a big gender pay gap’ or ‘Let's treat them with less respect because they're different’.
Even so, inequality still exists despite us having the best intentions to be fair in all our actions. A lot of these inequalities occur because we are not aware that we are treating people less favourably, when our unconscious bias is in action.
